Ironclad features a code of conduct. We use this document to set a base set of rules and expectations for the project's online presence, and in doing so, ensuring an inclusive and respectful space for collaboration where everyone can take part, regardless of social background, gender, or other personal attributes.
These guidelines are applied to official communities, pull requests, contributions to the project, and all other aspects that involve inter-personal communication.
We use the GNU Kind Communications Guidelines.
Enforcement of these guidelines is left to the moderation of the affected community, or developers of the affected project, and actions may be taken by these people as needed. These actions could include notices, all the way too exclusion from the community.
No action will be taken suddenly without notices to the affected users.
The development team has no official membership applications. Membership is given in a "word of mouth" basis, and includes people with substantial contributions to the project and an ideological agreement with the values of the project.
For reporting, we encourage communicating with the moderators of the channel directly. A list of the moderators of the official spaces can be found at our Organisational Structure tab. Email can be used for anonymous reports.
When reporting behaviour, remember to attach related evidence of the event to report, and to stay tuned to the communication channel for further questions or information requests.
