The following organisations are the driving force behind the open source development of Ironclad.
A group of people known as the development team runs and manages the project and its sites. They are the people with permissions to edit tickets and pull requests in a variety of repositories, and get final decision rights on important project decisions.
The development team has no official membership applications. Membership is given in a "word of mouth" basis, and includes people with substantial contributions to the project and an ideological agreement with the values of the project.

The official communication channels of the project are moderated by volunteers that sometimes overlap, sometimes dont, with the development team. Due to the nature of the work, all members of this group are public.
